Extracts the values from an array of shape (azimuth angles, range gages) which correspond to the indices computed during initialisation

Parameters:vals (numpy.ndarray) – array of shape (…, number of azimuth, number of range gates) Returns:output (numpy.ndarray) – array of shape (…, number of points, nnear)
